He was just standing outside.
Calm. Silent.
Filming the building from the sidewalk.
But when Karen, the CEO of the company, saw him through the window —
She exploded.
She ran outside in her heels, eyes wide with rage:
“Excuse me! What are you doing?!”
“Filming,” he replied calmly. “I’m in a public space.”
“You can’t film MY company! Delete that NOW!”
“Actually, ma’am, the law says I can film anything from public property—”
But she cut him off.
“That’s it. I’m calling 911. This is a SECURITY THREAT!”
She dialed right in front of him.
Shouting into the phone:
“There’s a man illegally recording my building! He’s refusing to leave!”
But the man? Still calm. Still recording.
Then the police arrived.
Karen rushed to them, pointing frantically.
“Arrest him! He’s filming confidential material!”
But the officer took one look at the man… and paused.
“Sir, can I see some ID?”
The man pulled out a badge.
Not police. Not government.
But something even more powerful…
“I’m with the corporate board. I was assigned to observe on-ground leadership. Today… was a test.”
Karen froze.
The officer looked at her.
“Ma’am… calling 911 under false pretenses is a misuse of emergency services.”
