Alberto had nothing… except this job.
Working long hours at a busy restaurant, he never complained. He smiled, helped customers, even stayed late when no one else would. He wasn’t just working for himself — he was working to help his little sister survive.
But then one day, everything changed.
The owner stormed into the kitchen with rage in her eyes. In front of everyone, she pointed at Alberto and screamed:
“You’ve been stealing from the register! Messing with orders! I know it’s you!”
Alberto froze. His heart dropped.
“That’s not true,” he whispered. “I would never… I need this job.”
But she didn’t care. She didn’t listen.
“You’re fired. And your sister? She’s out too. I don’t want either of you in this place again.”
Everyone stared. No one spoke up.
Alberto begged her to look at the cameras, to talk to the others. But she turned her back and walked away, throwing his apron on the floor.
She didn’t know the truth.
She didn’t know that Alberto had been covering for someone else.
She didn’t know the real thief was still working… laughing behind his back.
She didn’t know she had just made the biggest mistake of her career.
And what happens next? Will Alberto prove his innocence — or is this just the beginning of something much bigger?
