It was supposed to be a cute little dinner date.
Romantic vibes. Italian food.
She was fully focused on her pasta… fork in one hand, sauce on her lips.
Then—he reached across the table.
Not for her plate. Not for her wine.
Just for her phone, sitting next to her napkin.
But she didn’t notice that.
She saw a hand near her food—and instincts kicked in.
“BACK OFF! This is MINE!” she shouted, clutching her plate like a mama bear protecting her cub.
People around them turned.
He froze mid-air, holding back a laugh.
“I was just grabbing your phone…” he said, trying not to crack up.
She paused. Blinked. Realized.
Cue the loudest laugh in the restaurant.
“You better be careful,” she said, pointing her fork at him.
“Next time, I’ll stab first and ask questions later.”
Everyone was in tears laughing.
And yes… he still didn’t get the phone.
