Ingredients

Peach cobbler

  • For the Filling:

. 6–8 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced (or 4 cups canned peaches, drained)
. 3/4 cup granulated sugar
. 1/4 cup light brown sugar
. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
. 2 teaspoons lemon juice
. 1 tablespoon cornstarch

For the Topping:

. 1 cup all-purpose flour
. 1 cup granulated sugar
. 1 teaspoon baking powder
. 1/4 teaspoon salt
. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

One-teaspoon peach cobbler spice blend
. 3/4 cup whole milk
. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional:

. Vanilla  ice cream or whipped cream, for serving
